Home is where the QUILT is in Quilter’s World (December 2011)

Hello Friends, my “Home is where the Quilt is” quilt is officially featured in Quilter’s World‘s December 2011 issue.

This is probably the most man-cave-ish quilt I have made thus far!  Though not as dainty in appearance as in many of my quilts, I do like the “comfort look” of the quilt…

as in a quilt that will be and is put to use!

Quilting is done with Aurifil Mako 50 thread over Hobbs Tuscany Silk batt.  The motif is my allover swirly tails.

Fabrics are from RJR Thimbleberries’ Harvest Homecoming collection.  These fabrics are sure to delight many, especially Thimbleberries’ fans!

Are you currently making any comfort or man-cave quilts?  I would dearly like to know! My next quilt will also be using another Thimbleberries line.  Stay tuned for sneaky peeks!

Thanks for stopping by.  If all goes well, tomorrow will be a Thread Talk post.   Adios, till  tomorrow then.
