2 Turtledoves Christmas Ornament

Hello Friends!  I hope you are well.  If you know me, you know I work at really odd hours.  I rarely pack in more than 6 hours of sleep a night.  So, that means, one can easily find me up and piddling around at 3am or 4 am, when all is quiet at my house.  I was too sleepy to do any real work when I woke up at 3am one day last week, so I sat in my chair and finished up my “Two Turtledoves” Christmas ornament.  Pattern is The Cat’s Whisker’s “Twelve Days of Christmas Series”.

Here is a closer look at my “Partridge in the Pear Tree” Ornament that I finished up for Christmas 2012.

Not to be outdone, Miss Baby claimed this is her “Three French Hens” ornament, ha!  You can be the judge whether the ornament fits the label… :)

Thanks for stopping by, Friends!  Happy Monday, and Happy Week to you.

Merry, Merry Christmas Bells

Cast: Homemade Christmas Ornaments, European Blown Glass Oranments

Christmas Song: Merry, Merry Christmas Bells, author unknown

Merry, merry chiming bells,
Clear and sweet their carol swells,
Joyful news their music tells,
Glory in the highest:

Refrain: Glory be to God on high,
Glory in the highest.

In a manger far away,
Once the infant Savior lay;
We will sing His birth today,
Glory in the highest:

Refrain: Glory be to God on high,

Glory in the highest.

I hope you have a stupendous week!  It will be a crazy one for me trying to get three quilts out to the editor.  But after that, I should be able to take a short break.   Please know that I am slowly getting to your emails/comments.
