The first one was shared HERE – starting Oct 11 (next Tuesday!)
The second one was shared HERE – starting Oct 17!
It’s our LAST check-in for #pumppleSAL today! I have enjoyed seeing pictures of #pumppleSAL on Instagram. Do check them out if you haven’t. I hope you are still having fun pumppling along!

“A Pumpkin A Day” is my original quilt featured on the cover of Quilter’s World Autumn 2022 issue. This is a scrap friendly quilt — or you can easily use a FQ bundle that has a minimum of 15 FQs (or equivalent F8s).
Click HERE if you want to use the fabrics used to make the original quilt (shown on the magazine cover). They are from Moda’s Late October line.
Purchase the Quilters World Autumn 2022 issue for the pattern HERE if you aren’t already a subscriber.
Today’s assignment is to finish up the quilt top — and be DONE!
Again, this is never a race… well, I have three more blocks to go as my attention has been directed toward time-sensitive and work-related things. But I plan on working them leader and ender style while I finish up the more pressing magazine quilts I have going.
And with that I consider that a wrap on our #pumppleSAL. Thank you for sewing with me. I will share picture as soon as I finish the top.
Here is a quick glance at the schedule:
8/3 – Do a test block from start to finish! With a block that has many pieces, I always make a block from start to finish. That way, I am able to work out pressing directions and other details. Doing this will make construction of your subsequent blocks go so much faster. You may decide to keep this book, or not, toward the 20 blocks we will be making!
8/10 – Make (10) pumpkin or apple units, (9) if you are keeping your test block.
8/17 – Make another (10) pumpkin or apple units.
8/24, 8/31, 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28 – Complete (3) or (4) blocks each week until you have made (20).
—> WE ARE HERE! 10/5 – Assemble quilt top, and you will have a quilt for the FALL and/or BEYOND!
