Happy Friday, my Friends! It’s time to raid your stash if you want to make my Puzzle Quilt with me! This Puzzle Quilt would make lovely gift to a anyone. Christmas gift sewing, anyone?
TIPS TO MAKE THIS QUILT:
#1. So, it’s a super easy block to put together! I see it as sort of a glorified 9-patch block, kind of.
#2. Because of the interlocking effect, I actually find it easier to cut as I sew the blocks across the piece rows, instead of cutting all my fabric pieces at one time.
#3. If you are not making this quilt following my suggested colors, BE SURE to label your fabrics according to the fabric identifications given in the pattern. Or you can just cut as you go according to #2.

FABRIC CHOICES – DO RAID YOUR STASH FIRST BEFORE YOU PURCHASE FABRICS!
#1. You will need 8 Fabrics — be sure to choose CONTRASTING fabrics, in colors and in print scales. That way, you will be able to see the individual puzzle pieces.
#2. However, if you want to make it in FQs for a scrappier look, it’s best to have at least 15-16 FQS to play with. You can use different FQs of the same color hues for placements. Following shows the quilt colored with 8 Riley Blake’s Enchanted fabrics vs Fat Quarters from the same fabric line. Fabrics are available for purchase HERE.
Notice closely — how the quilt takes on a scrappier look if you use an Enchanted FQ Bundle.
#3. I am making mine using one Makower UK’s Amelia FQ Bundle.
#4. Here are a couple more FQ coloring options if you would like make yours with a specific fabric line.

As with my other sewalong schedules, this one is also a low demand schedule! If you feel like you want to sew ahead and faster, please do so by all means!!
