You know with the fancy schmancy high tech sewing machines these days, I think they also pose a higher probability of mischief. Well, I shall let the picture below do the telling…. in the vein of “the dog eating my homework” with a quilty flavor…
I accidentally sew something we have to return to school to the back of a quilt. If you look closely, you can see that I was doing feather quilting at the time of the mishap. And so, Miss Baby felt the need to annotate, “My Mom’s sewing machine tryed to eat this.” HAHAHA!
Alrightie, Friends… that’s it for now. I am actually going to catch a quick nap as I had very little sleep last night trying to get a quilt finished and out the door. I shall catch up with you later! Hugs to you all.
Ha, ha! Hopefully, Miss Baby’s teacher has a great sense of humor…maybe she even sews!
This is priceless!!! Thanks for giving me a smile!! Live to you and your sweet girl !! Rhonda G
Oops. I meant Love to you!!
Ha, ha, ha. I bet the teachers at Miss Baby’s school don’t see the “eaten by a sewing machine” excuse very often.

Oh, Wendy….it’s been one of THOSE days….and now you’ve made me laugh so hard I nearly peed my pants…..(is that ok to say???? lol). Thank you ….and thank Miss Baby for me…..I needed this!
😂😂😂😂
That is so funny! Thanks for sharing
Miss Baby is a quick study. I predict a bright future for her. Oh what fun.
That’s awesome. I love her note. Hugs!
Too funny–thanks for sharing!😉
I love how the “proof” is right on
It, unlike the dog story!
Clever kid! I’ll bet the teacher got a kick out of it too.
What a sense of humor your little one has! I think this is a sign of mommy multi-tasking! Nap is a good thing!
That’s a new one, and I taught for 31 years! Too cute!
That’s a good one!!!
Being a quilter and a retired elementary teacher, this is priceless! I bet having Miss Baby in class is pure joy……what fun! This commentary also gave my husband, a retired middle school teacher, a chuckle this morning. Enjoy your well deserved nap , Wendy. 😴
That is delightful! I can’t wait to tell my teacher daughter-in-law! I thought I’d heard a lot of excuses from my daughter and grandkids… the worst I think I ever did was spill coffee on homework or permission slips although I think I remember pulling things out of the trash and “washing” them…
Oh my – that is so funny. It will probably be the most unique homework note the teacher will have ever seen.
Hilarious!!!!!!!
