I love that Maryllen also increase the size of her quilt but making more blocks than my original quilt. Please head on over to her blog to see her version of my Stars Over Columbia quilt! While you are there, check out Maryellen’s Etsy shop as well.
Friday, March 25 – Lemon Tree Snippets
The original Stars Over Columbia is made totally with scraps from my stash. So often we are left with small pieces of leftover fabrics when we finish a quilt. A great way to organize them is to cut them int0 squares of common sizes: 2″, 2 1/2″, 3″, 3 1/2″ and so forth. Then when you have enough built up in your stash, you can easily pull them out to make a project.
I thought you might enjoy seeing this picture I took from staging Miss Baby’s Playmobil cats “messing about” with my Aurifil threads! What is this world coming to? :)
