Hello Friends, here is a fun (a bit lame!) fact for you… Christmas will be here before we know it! :) I am happy to share with you Christmas Morning, another free to use design I did for Benartex using their Santa’s Here line. I can see many of you having LOTS of fun with this design! For added personalization – wouldn’t it be fun to add embroidered (hand or machine) names on some of the gifts?

And here is our latest installment of THIS or THAT on Christmas Morning: Home Made Gifts or Store Bought Gifts? Curious mind is really curious to know!
Thank you for stopping by. I haven’t forgotten about posting about the new machine etc. I have been working a lot, like A LOT…. and that is making me a rather dull girl. But with God’s sufficient grace, I will eventually dig myself out of the pile/rubble! :)
Have a lovely rest of your evening!

I love making handmade gifts. I don’t usually receive handmade, though. I make a table runner for my sister-in-law, and pajamas for my son, and nieces and nephews. I try to pick fabric that goes with something they’ve mentioned during the year. When my son was learning to drive, he got pajamas with cars and traffic signs. It’s fun!
Looking for the “Love” button!!!!! That is an awesome pattern!!!!! I’ll have to return for it, though, cuz there are just too many items “on my plate” at the moment!!!!!! All quilty fun but a tad numerous……..LOL!!!! Hugs…………………..SSAB
I hope that you are not too far under the pile/rubble, dear Wendy. Time for a breather? I try to give handmade gifts, but don’t always succeed. I do carry on an eleven year tradition of making personalized pillowcases for my grandchildren. It began with two cases and has grown to nine. They used to be Christmas themed but over the years they have become more diversified. Christmas on the horizon……..oh dear!!
Wendy, I love your “Christmas Morning” quilt. I can see using it in many ways from what you have to very elegant. Thank you.
Wonderful pattern, Wendy! As far as This or That, well, I have good intentions. I have tons of patterns and fabrics for those home made gifts. Just need to get “a round tuit”. So I usually, at the last minute go out and buy gifts. Every year is going to be the year I get the round tuit! Ha! Mary
What a cure idea! The names embroidered on would be a nice touch as well.
That should read CUTE idea, not cure. :)
Thanks for sharing this fabulous pattern. I was looking for a Christmas project, just for me and this is the perfect one.
Your free pattern is adorable! Thank you so much for sharing it! I really prefer making gifts, but most of my family prefers receiving store bought gifts so I do both. I have never participated in this segment of your blog before and really enjoyed it. A really brilliant and creative way to share information about yourself and get to know the quilters who follow your blog. Please forgive some of my long written answers, I come from a two sided line of yappers, laughers and we also all get loud. LOL. Have a wonderful creative day!
