Letting you in on…

… a couple of sneaky previews!

#1 is mainly threadwork, but a bit out of my ordinary yet REALLY fun!

#2 has LOTS of colors – brown, black, green, orange, pink, purple, yellow etc – but they all work together beautifully.  I promise.

I will share the details on each when the time is right/ripe. :)  Meanwhile, do tell me which speaks to you… #1 or #2. It’s a busy day – lots to get done – I’d better run for now.  You all take care!  HUGS….

  1. I like them both however the colors of number one really sing to me! Beautiful work! Linda Yount Sent from my iPhone

  2. I liked #1 best. I love the vibrant colors and the way the thread colors played against the fabric. (((hugs))) to you and Miss G.

  3. I love the first one. I think there are times that the piecing should be the star and there are times for the quilting to shine. It is all part of the art and since I do both the piecing and the quilting on my art, I appreciate both. Your quilting always inspires me. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Beauteous!…”Beautiful” just wasn’t quite strong enough. They both speak to me….#1 says “Look at me—I’m everything that makes you happy rolled up into one”….#2 says “Look at me—I’m everything peaceful and calm and serene in your life!” Both really are wonderful—can hardly wait to see the finished projects–and so curious to see what/who they are for.

  5. I like both, but the colored threads on the batik in #1 shows off your stitching skills and really draws the eye to the piece!!

  6. You had me at batik with the first one–looks like flights of fantasy. The second one is beautiful, and it looks much more difficult to keep everything even and controlled. Ask me to choose… BOTH!

  7. These are not your typical “Wendy” quilts, but the quilting definitely is. The second is intriguing, but I really need to see more of it. The first has a romantic feel withe the elegant feathers. At this moment my vote is for number 1, but I really need to see more of both before I make a final decision. Hope you are on the mend, Wendy.
