Winter Blues: Sneak Peeks

Friends, it’s one thing when the weather is bitterly cold, but it’s totally different when a wind advisory is added to the bitter cold!  We had the cold and wind today.

Here are a couple of sneak peeks of my Winter Blues quilt:

I shall close out today’s post with just a few more visions of blues – my kind of blues! :)

And here is a quilt named China Blue I made for Quilt Magazine in 2012.  Click here to read more about the quilt.

  1. Love your sneak peak on Winter Blues. Beautiful. Your free-motion quilting also makes me think of a cold wind blowing. China Blue is also lovely.

I hope warmer weather comes your way very soon. You’ve had a couple of whopping storms come your way. Brr…but perfect for quilting! Guess you can’t really keep Miss Baby home from school by simply telling the teacher it is perfect weather to quilt. LOL!

  2. Quilts are fun, but they do cast a bit of “cool blue.” Dishes are beautiful…..such a lovely array. Sorry you are feeling the chilly winter weather. Stay cozy inside, get lots of quilting done.
