FREE PATTERN: It’s Electrifying

Happy Wednesday, Friends.  For those who live in the States, how is your Thanksgiving Eve shaping up?  My little family is having a rather quiet and low key Thanksgiving this year.  I am actually enjoying my rather stress-free Thanksgiving Eve.

I have another free downloadable pattern to share today.  It’s Electrifying is designed by yours truly for Benartex using Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry’s new line, Electric Feathers.  These fabrics feature absolutely gorgeous textures!

I was really happy to see It’s Electrifying being shown at Fall Quilt Market at Houston this year.  Sample is pieced by Sherry McConnell and quilted by Ebony Love.

Curious mind wants to know how you would use the Electric Feathers fabrics.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a lovely day.

  1. Yes, I agree with Karen. These fabrics would be great to cut up in applique projects because there’s so much variation in value across a piece of yardage. You can use them to achieve a great deal of perceptual depth similar to what you’d get by using lots of different fabrics in different shades of each color. Happy Thanksgiving, Wendy!

  2. This is a lovely line of fabrics. I would think you could use them like you would batiks and in larger scale pieced quilts. This is a great quilt to feature this line of fabrics, awesome work.
    Happy Thanksgiving!
    Have a great day.
    Always, Queenie

  3. Thank you for sharing another of your patterns. I love the variations of the colors as they shade out! I took a class from Ebony Love at IQF ! She is a bundle of energy, and I can only guess your pattern looked spectacular quilted.
