  1. Thanksgiving and all the goodies that go with it. Hope I don’t have to do the cooking this year. Done it for so many years, time for someone else to take over.

  2. I made pancakes also this morning! It’s gettting to be fall in the Ozarks, trees are turning brilliant and the temps are cool, with rain tonight. I also made a pot of vegetable beef soup, and I’m so glad to have soup weather here. War Eagle Art and Craft Fair begins on Thurs, and with all the activity, this town will be hopping. We carved pumpkins with the grandkids yesterday.. I love autumn!

  3. Hmmm, I’d have to say apples, pears, pumpkin anything, and cooked Sweet Dumpling squash are my favorite fall foods. I bought a big box of Jonagold apples direct from the farm, and they are SO good! And yes, fall is my favorite season as well.

  4. I love fall as well. Fresh baked bread cinnamon rolls. Soups. I love coming inside to the smell of a big pot of homemade soup and fresh baked bread.

  5. mmmmmmmmmm…………..after reading all the previous entries, I’m so hungry. lol This is my favorite time of the year also. Apple cider (our own), apple crisp, and pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin: pies, crumbles, custard, muffins. Never have made pancakes though! I guess that’s next on the agenda!

  6. I have been out of communication with my friends for a week or so. We took a trip to Telluride, Co to see the Fall colors and was just indescribable. I absolutely love cranberry orange scones and green tea for breakfast. We are planning a breakfast for about 25 friends Nov.2 and so I am working on the menu now and will sure include some scones. But they are real good about wanting to bring things so we will go egg sausage casserole and one with bacon and egg –potatoes in crock pot along peppers, chilies, etc. and that is as far as I have gotten. Happy Fall and sewing.

  7. I have a few casseroles that take an hour in the oven that I don’t dare use during the summer because the AC would have a hard time competing. It’s fun to use them all again now that it is starting to turn cooler. I also love Harvest Loaf Cake but wonder if I dare make it since I am trying to cut back on sweets and this one is hard to keep my hands off of.
