Hello Friends, how was your weekend? I hope you had a lovely one. I managed to finish my Christmas-tide quilt over the weekend. Here is a sneak peek for you:
Miss Baby and I had the following conversation about the quilt…
Miss Baby: Mom, is this a Christmas quilt?
Me: Yes, it is. See the berries?
Miss Baby: But Mom, it is not Christmas yet!
Exactly what I thought. Working on Christmas projects in the summertime always messes up my brain! My husband saw the quilt a couple of hours later, and he asked, “Is this a Christmas quilt?” Ha – apparently, this working on Christmas projects during the summer get-up play funny tricks on the rest of my family too! :)
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a lovely week ahead.
Tis a beautiful sneak peek!
Weekend was fun, played with Grandkids. Looks like a pretty Quilt. Not even Fourth of July, but we’re stitching Christmas. Definitely mind games.
Beautiful quilting! Did you use a ruler or something else for those large curves?
No, I used a regular 6″ bowl! :)

Very nice as usual. So baby doesn’t think it’s Christmas yet?
Love the quilting! And Christmas in June is still fun:)
Once again another lovely sneaky peaky…………yes it can be confusing working on Christmas items now………….but it will be here sooner than we think!
It looks really pretty. I love the circles. Is it ever too early to start working on Christmas projects?? I guess as quilters we can celebrate year round.
Well, that little itty bitty bit you let us see is lovely. Can’t wait to see the rest! Hope it’s soon!!! LOL
Oh, lovely! How did you get those larger curves, please? So clever of you, as usual.
Sorry for the late response – I use a large round platter! :)
Great question!
Wendy
Love the fabric and quilting something to aim to achieve LOL
A very tempting peek at what I’m sure is a gorgeous quilt!
Love the sneak peak and, most definitely, the “Christmas in July” (or any other time other than December) messes me up! The pebbles/berries are a delight and am lovin’ the double loop! Have found many spots for it of late!! Hugs….SSAB
Oh, another one to love. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt.
This looks like a great one Wendy! The year is half way gone so half way to Christmas already. Time flies!
That looks lovely! I can understand the confusion. A magazine I got yesterday featured fall food and decorations, and I thought. “What? It’s just barley summer?” Does it make you feel cooler, though, to work on Christmas projects during hot summer days and imagine winter outside the windows? :-)
I really like your quilting little circles, they look like pebbles. I really need to practice that design. It is lovely.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
