  1. I love dishes and especially blue and white! The fabrics are my favorite colors. Are you getting ready to start a new project with these colors!!!!! I hope so —

  2. I have been a blue-aholic for as long as I can remember. When I married back long ago(!!!), my homenymoon dress was a navy-white linen dress with matching coat. I’ve collected a few pieces of the Chinese blue/white pottery, and love the shades of blue in them. My youngest GD(the five yr old) was looking at my collection last night, and asked why I had some many that were in the same shade of blue, told her that shade of blue is my favorite. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do with the one piece at the top of the screen, looks like there might be some Koi fish printed on the fabric. That one is probably my favorite!

  3. I love blue & white it is timeless and always beautiful. Can’t wait to see the quilt done. It could be my next project. Everything I have seen you do has been gorgeous!

  4. Wendy, what is that variegated thread in the teacup? I was looking for variegated thread to quilt with a couple days ago and all I could find locally was the YLI 40 weight machine quilting thread and the Supreme Threads 40 weight. I know you don’t use those heavy threads — please share where you find lightweight variegated threads for quilting!

Your blue and white fabrics are lovely; they DO remind me of china!

  5. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Can’t wait to see what you will do – i collect the rose and white…wheels are turning!

  6. oh my gosh….I love..love those dishes….so wish I could find some like that..

the fabric is sooooooooooooooo perfect……I LOVE the fabric! perfect choice…would be my choice~!~~~~~

  7. The china collection is gorgeous and the fabrics are such a great reflection of them. Please tell us more soon.

  8. I, too, love blue china. I have a set (service for 4!!!) we received as a wedding present 43 years ago. Every now and then I take out a cup and saucer to enjoy my coffee or tea. This calms me as much as quilting, Now I’m inspired to add to my blue and white fabric collection.
