  1. It was hard to decide–you are so good in all that you do–very talented and I don’t know where you find the time for all of the things you do. Blessings.

  2. The dresses are the icing on the cake. At this rate you will never be able to get rid of them. She will have all the clothing for her little girls when the time comes. Chris

  3. Each one! They are all to pretty to choose just one! Lucky Miss Baby!
I’d like to have one week to just follow you and watch how you make everything so beautiful.

  4. The monogram bishop is my favorite, that shade of blue with white is one of my favorite color combinations, especially in childrens’ clothing. I’ve used the blue/white combination for some cute things for boys, so a smocked dress for a girl is perfect. Chris

  5. I can still remember, when I was a little girl, that my Grandmother would send me beautiful dresses with smocking. I love, loved, loved them and was all smiles when I wore them. While young, I knew she made them just for me and no one else had anything like it. Your beautiful smocking reminds me of this special memory. You do beautiful work!

  6. Hi Wendy and welcome back home. I love the Christmas smocked dresses the best. but of the 3, the holly themed one is my favorite. The addition of the lace insets on the hem is what put that dress over the top. By the time Miss Baby is 18, her cedar chest is going to be packed with linens, quilts and beautiful heirloom clothing. Do you have her baptismal gown to show us?
Wishing you a Blessed New Year for your little family. So looking forward to seeing what all you have in store for us in 2012.

  7. Loved them all Wendy. Miss Baby is a very lucky little girl..lots of children never receive a homemade dress let alone “6”.
Very hard to pick a favorite, they are all wonderful.

  8. Hi Wendy,

Your smocking is just exquisite so all the smocked dresses are my favorite. The fabric in the Magic of Cristmas dress is soooooo gorgeous that if I had to pick one favorite, that would be it. Wow, if I even made one handmade outfit I would feel that I accomplished alot. You are an inspiration and I really enjoy seeing the quilts and outfits you’ve made.

  9. Don’t get me wrong, I loved all the smocked dresses. I love to smock, too. And have enjoyed smocking for our daughter and now our granddaughter over the years. But, the You are my sunshine play outfit really catches my eye. I’ll have to make one for the grandgirl before she gets too big! Too cute!
