Remember the pastel goodness I had shown you a few weeks ago?
I have made nine pomegranate blocks from the fabrics so far… giving the traditional green and red pomegranate blocks a whimsical and pastel twist! Click here and here to read how I have prepped and stitched these blocks.
I am sewing the quilt top together today. So I am going to run for now. Have a sweet day, everyone!
What a lovely group of fabrics, I’m hoping to get a bit of sewing in today as well. Looking forward to seeing you work your magic!
Love the soft colors!! And how even your blanket stitches are at the points! I always end up with a jig or a jag there! sooooo pretty!
Oh my, this is almost too lovely for words. Swoon…..
I’m a newbie and have enjoyed so much looking at your work. I love the pastel fabrics you’ve chosen for latest project. We’re having another grandchild, after seeing these fabrics I’m hoping for another girl! I’ve made each of the grandchildren a quilt so trying to decide what the next quilt will.

Love pomegranates; to eat and applique! Can’t wait to see the final peak.
Jusy lovely, can’t wait to see the finished quilt. May I ask – do you only sleep 2-4 hours a night how in the world do you get so many quilts done?
It’s turning out perfect. I can’t wait to see the finished top.
I love this! Such a wonderful summer quilt feeling to it!
oh! I’m having memories of picking ripe pomegranates from an orchard at my grandparents’ in Nevada and walking along barefoot on the dirt road, happily making a huge mess of myself as I enjoyed that delicious, hilarious fruit!
Love these colors and prints Wendy!
Change is going to happen no matter what. There sure is more than just one way of understanding this topic. Thanks for this epic article. It’s really great to see that you are still creating great articles after all these years. Do you think todays news will affect things in the coming years?
OK you have convinced me, I’ve got a couple of favourite traditional applique patterns that have been calling me for a while, and I also have some new contemporary fat quarters that until now haven’t had a purpose – I think I might just put the two together…
love it already, cant wait to see more of it :)
I love this – this is going on my must-do list, Wendy – gorgeous!!!
I love the buttons on the flowers. That quilt is going to be so cute.
