Since Christmas is my favorite holiday, it’s always special when I am able to work on a Christmas quilt. I was able to pack in four Christmas quilts this year, which I shall share some snippets with you. Please feel free to click on the links provided for more pictures and details (including the names of fabric collections I used) on each individual quilt. Please note that all the quilts are quilted by yours truly on a Bernina domestic machine.
1. Holiday Spinners, featured in The Quilter‘s Quilting for Christmas 2010
This is my “prim and proper” Christmas quilt for the year. The traditional reds and greens are probably my favorite Christmas colors. I like the touches of black mixed in with the Christmas colors.
I quilted a holly/berries/swag motif allover the entire quilt.
2. Poinsettia Fiesta, featured in The Quilter‘s Quilting for Christmas 2010
This is my “Tex-Mex” Christmas quilt – the colors are traditional, but yet it has a funky brightness to them.
3. Christmas in Ohio, featured in Fons & Porter‘s Easy Quilts (Winter 2010)
This is my “warm and cozy” Christmas quilt. I like the Currier and Ives look on the fabrics. Allover swirls were quilted on the entire quilt to give the quilt a textured look.
4. Peppermint Parcel, featured in Quilter’s World December 2010
This is my “sweet and fun” Christmas quilt, using aqua and pink fabrics to achieve the fun part. The gift tags are embroidered with Christmas Greetings in different languages, giving the quilt an international feel!
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my contributions to the Christmas Quilt Tour this year. Before you leave, would you tell me which is your favorite?
I wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS season!
All the quilts are lovely, but I absolutely love the poinsettia one. Your quilting, as always, is stunning!

After voting I see they are all so close! I love your quilts – I love your quilting. Someday I hope to be a just a 10th as good as you, and I’ll be happy.
Your workmanship is fantastic! Your quilting looks like it was done on a long arm! Very impressive on a domestic :-)
