Joseph’s Pinwheels: Sneak Peek #1

Remember these adorable polka dots I showed you last week?

I have managed to do something with them…. The name Joseph’s Pinwheels is  inspired by the verse Genesis 37:3 — “Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours” (emphasis mine):

The back of my blocks will never look as good as Cathi‘s.  Seriously, the back of Cathi’s blocks look as good as the front… but I was delighted by the teensy pinwheel (1/2″) from the way I did my seam allowances.  Cute, isn’t it?

Thank you again for stopping by.  I hope you have a lovely day!

  1. Oh yes, I love the dots. What wonderful blocks. I see you pressed some seams open, I see more and more people doing that and there are so many blocks I think you need to.

  2. Thanks for showing the back of Joseph’s Pinwheels. I enjoy seeing how it was pressed. I noticed you pressed the seam open. I think good pressing can make a block.
