“My sister and I” stitch-along: Part 4

It’s time for another update for my “My sister and I” stitch-along. I haven’t been able to get very far, but I did manage to add another maiden,

and the letter “I” / “J”. I don’t know why, but this sampler doesn’t seem to make a distinction between I and J, and just goes straight to K.

You have probably guessed by now that this sampler is based on the Parable of Ten Virgins in the Bible:

I am still having a lot of fun with this project. Sorry I don’t have updates from my sister for this update. My sister is busy making more of her felt food items, and getting ready to transition to an exciting phase of her life. But she will let us peek in on her progress soon, I am sure!

Thank you for stopping by. I wish you a beautiful Wednesday!

  1. I think I would make two I/Js in a row. Seems too strange to skip one or the other in the alphabet.

Always fun to see that cute pic of you and your sis. :)

  2. I can’t get over how tiny your stitches are! That is going to be a fabulous sampler. I guess they figured the I and J looked so much alike, they’d just do one!

  3. I have same I and J like that in many samplers…

What you said is right for MW..the chart has some hiccups…i corrected it using my JAne’s software and soon they posted the edited version….i just lost the mojo to stitch…i have seen some beautiful MW finishes online…that really motivates me to stitch that…but still i’m very slow
