I don’t see myself ever engaging in the activity of building fences — to me, it’s too much manual labor! But in the process of coming up a quilt design for these sweet fabrics from “SIMPLY SWEET” by Henry Glass ( to be featured in The Quilter magazine next year),
I found a revolutionary yet sweet way to build a picket fence even a wimp like me can tackle — with fabrics!
Can’t you see flowers growing along such a sweet picket fence?
Can’t you just imagine taking tea in such an idyllic setting?
I have really enjoyed this quilt project. And…. if I ever have a real picket fence, I want mine painted white with red polka dots, just like the one in the quilt!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a terrific Thursday! I will see you tomorrow.
Oh my Wendy…this really is a sweet quilt!
Goodness Gracious Girl ~ the hours you must spend at the machine! And I am sure they are all filled with pleasure! What a lovely quilt!
Blessings!
Oh yes, I can certainly imagine taking tea by this sweet fence. Love the polka dots :-)

I just love the colors in this and your fences too. I can’t wait to see what the finished quilt looks like. It’s darling from what I can see.
