Good day, everyone! A special welcome to those who have stumbled on “Ivory Spring” through the Blogger Quilt Festival! I hope you enjoy your little visit here. Please leave me a comment so that I can visit you back.
The Special Holiday Issue of “The Quilter” is out! I have enjoyed browsing through it.
I love love love Christmas! My “Forever Christmas” quilt (fabrics courtesy of Red Rooster Fabrics), featured in the issue, expresses my sentiment perfectly. I always leave my Christmas decorations up as long as my family can possibly tolerate it. And when I am taking them down (finally!), I am always wishing Christmas would be forever!
Shown with my quilt here is one of my all-time favorite Christmas pieces – a Christmas pyramid from a German antique shop.
Even though I can’t leave my Christmas stuff up forever during the year, I do celebrate Christmas everyday in my heart… for the meaning of Christmas is forever remembered within me everyday! So with that, I bid you a MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)
Thank you again for popping by!
Another beauty!
How cool to see it in print!
I do like Christmas decorating, but I do like getting my house back to “normal” in January and getting reacquainted with my things.
But I do believe in keeping Christmas in one’s heart all year! Merry Christmas to you, too!
The quilt is lovely. I will have to look for a copy of that magazine. I am so glad that you keep Christmas in your heart every day. We should all try and do that.
That quilt is beautiful! I also like the one on the cover – definitely need to pick up this issue. And I’m like you, I’d like Christmas up all year, but it should remain in someone’s heart all year long!
We don’t have that magazine here, but it looks great!
Have fun with it!
Micki

Hi Wendy
Congratulations for being in another magazine. I like the quilt and the quiltin gon it is great!
I celebrate Christmas every day too! I leave my Santa collection out all year… my guest room has a winter-theme with a snowman quilt on the wall and pictures of Santa and a beautiful print of a polar bear. I also have over 50 Santa figurines on display. People enjoy the novelty of the room when they come to visit… especially at Christmas. I love your quilt… I need to make one similar for my guest bed.
Merry Christmas and this darling quilt should help with celebrating everyday.
What a lovely Christmas quilt and gorgeous quilting in the spaces. I love the pretty fabrics too.

Warmest regards,
Anna

This is such a beautiful quilt! I love the colors. I’m trying to work my way through the quilt festival. So many lovely quilts to look at!
I get really depressed when I have to undecorate for Christmas too. My solution is to leave some things out like my porcelain village houses until winter is almost over. Then I have Spring to look forward to!
BEAUTIFUL!
What a special quilt! Love the holiday colors and the quilting! Great to see contrasting thread on it.
Beautiful quilt—I totally love Christmas, too.

I am looking for the tree skirt pattern printed in the 2009 christmas Quilting mag. Done by Carol A. Horrell
I think she mentioned it in the 2010 Readers Exchange Sew and Tell. Can you tell me where to get this pattern
Thankyou Maria
