Austen Book Talk

Having been brought up and trained in Science, I am by no means a literary person. I am not schooled in classics, but I am most definitely a Pride & Prejudice fan! I came across “Just Jane” by Nancy Moser that I can’t wait to crack open:

I had thoroughly enjoyed “Washington’s Lady”, and am anticipating a great read in “Just Jane”. So, with a cup to tea, I shall proceed to the nearest chair to start on the book! I love to hear from you if you have read “Just Jane”.

Thanks for popping by! I hope you are having a splendid day!

  1. Wendy, We ARE truly soul sisters. I am such a huge fan of Jane Austen and all of her works. I will be very interested to hear you thoughts about Just Jane. I’ve not read it but would like to know if it is worth the read. Jane’s work is so genius how she wraps the reader up in the lives of her characters and makes them come to life. I have read P & P several times, as well as Emma, Sense and Sensibility, and her other works. P & P is the best and I always love reading the sweet love story of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. Guess you can tell I like happy endings :-)

  2. Hi Wendy,
I bought Just Jane awhile ago, but haven’t read it yet. Please let us know what you think when you are done. Have you read Jane Austen’s Persuasion? It’s my favorite JA book.

  3. I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about Just Jane. I just finished Moser’s book about Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

I wasn’t schooled in the classics, but I’ve been trying to read several of them over the last few years.

  4. I have no time to read, but only the titles and ISBN numbers when I check new books into the library system. I do lovely ready and buying new books to keep when I have more time! Thanks for sharing I will look to see if we have any Just Jane in our collection- hugs Natima
