I would love to see a quilting class which covers how to plan out the entire quilting (blocks, borders, negative spaces, etc.) before you put the needle to the quilt. Also, how to use a free-form design without stencils? Also, I detest washing my quilts after using water soluable markers for designs. I'd love to see a method that can trace (transparency, chalk, etc.) an accurate design for quilting. (I've tried the air dry pencil but it only works if you can finish your quilting in a matter of minutes). Looking forward to some great ideas. Thanks

Congrats Wendy! Looks like you had fun creating your new class :) There is one thing that I struggle with, but not sure it can be a class, but maybe more of a discussion... it's the deciding what to do where part of the process. I can spend days, weeks, sometime months agonizing over how to quilt a particular project. Sometimes it is easy - almost like the quilt speaks to me right away. Other times it is a much slower process. Being on the road all the time gives me time to play with sketches (I ALWAYS have my sketch book with me), so sometimes I come up with something on the road and then can't wait to get home to do some quilting! Thank you for sharing your journey with us, and I still have to send you a pic or 2 from the FMQ Challenge :)

Hello Wendy. Congratulations on your online course. I haven't looked at the outline yet, but am hoping that you cover (or will in another course) thread tension and how to get a regular, but not tiny, stitch length when fmqing. Thank you for your fantastic blog

Congratulations on what you have achieved. I hope your future achievements are as great. I'd love to learn more about deciding what goes where in quilting and gaining confidence in free-forming - (I guess that 2nd one is just practise huh?!)
