Here it is, quilted! I opted for a very informal allover flower/leaves motif to keep with the light-hearted fabric theme. This was my first time trying out this particular motif. I don’t think my execution was as perfect as I would like it to be. I am also not quite sure yet how I feel about those square-edged petals. So I am going to play around with the motif further. Once I find a trick to better execute the motif on the domestic machine, I will share it here.

Thanks for stopping by. Now if you would excuse me, I need to play catch up on housework and laundry! I will chat with you again tomorrow, Friends

Wendy , I love your square petals !!! They are a good contrast to the sharp points of the pieced stars. I think it softens it and it has a nice flow to it too. Very pretty quilt.
I think it’s a wonderful motif! Wow such a lovely quilt.
Loves nice to me! Kind of modern and “retro”.
Looks good to me.
This is lovely I really like it
Lovely! Fresh as Spring! Do you use pantographs or templates or draw your quilting pattern onto the quilt or just free hand all of it?
Like your new design…and the overall effect is great
Laundry. What fun is that. You need a husband like mine who does the laundry. The quilt turned out really cute and I like that motif.
I cast my vote in favor of your funky square petaled flowers, too. They have a quirky, contemporary feel that is very fresh and appealing. I dig it!
I REALLY like the quilting motif Wendy, I think it’s perfect as it is!
thats too cute
love it… makes me want to get my ‘A’ into ‘G’
Cool quilting motif, your execution superb as usual..:-) . Could imagine this beauty on a wall in the Museum of Modern Art. Have fun with the laundry!
This is so girly gorgeous…and I just love that hexagon peeking out of the block… adorable quilt

Been watching your progress. It is lovely!
I LOVE it!
I like the square edged flowers – not your typical shape so something new and different to look at.
