…. consult your cookies! I was munching on these cookies over the weekend, and saw a nice variation to Diane-Shiko / Cathedral windows quilting motif on the sweet treats. See the left side of my quilt block to spot the Diane-Shiko quilting.
That just goes to show you how much quilting intertwines with the real-life aspects of a quilter’s life. Remember to look around you, the next winning quilting motif might be staring right at you!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ve enjoyed this light-hearted post.

Bet those cookies were nowhere near as delicious as your quilting!
ROFL!! We see quilting/piecing motifs *everywhere*, don’t we?
I think I need to eat more cookies!
Too pretty to eat

I’m off to the fridge to find quilt patterns, lol! Love this post Wendy!
Yum – now they look great …and I love your ones – what have you put in the middle and what size were they…Lotsa questions
What a perfect way to combine food and quilting. Now need to have a closer look at the chocolate!
Too cute!
Quilting ideas are all over the place. I am looking to be inspired for a design I want to come up with for a red and white quilt challenge for our quilt show next year. We can’t use commercial patterns.
Great idea and it looks fabulous in quilting.
I knew a musician who said he heard music in everything ~ even in the roll of a train across the tracks. I think you see quilting patterns in everything!
Very cool.
I’ll use any excuse to purchase cookies, now I have a reason to try new ones.
LOL! Patterns are everywhere.
Wow, your quilting is getting better and better. Gorgeous! You make me want to practice, practice, practice!
Delicious! Both the cookies and the quilt!
This can be such a challenge to match the quilting with the quilts. Especially with art or landscape quilts. it can really stump you.
