Many of you have known that I have been on a quilting marathon as of late. I am happy to share with you that the first phase of this crazy marathon is over. I so appreciate your encouraging comments and emails – believe it or not, they keep me company as I work late into the night meeting various quilt deadlines! So, I want to thank you for being my late night buddies!
Over the last four weeks, I have turned in…
1. Spring Clusters Banner for American Patchwork & Quilting (Spring 2011)

2. An embellished baby circus quilt for Quilting Treasures

3. Dancing Daffodils for Quilter’s World‘s Special Interest Issue (2011)

4. Duckie Crossing for The Quilter (March 2011)

5. Autumn Panel as a special project

6. Tea with me Table Topper for RJR Fabrics‘ Quilt Market Booth (Houston 2010)

7. Reach for the Stars Growth Chart for RJR Fabrics’ Quilt Market Booth (Houston 2010)

8. Spring Song for Benartex‘s Quilt Market Booth (Houston, 2010)
Curious mind wants to know if you have a favorite…

I just started the second phase of the marathon, and am almost finished with the first quilt in this series. I will have more pictures for you later! Meanwhile, I hope you are enjoying the autumn/spring season wherever you are. Come back tomorrow – I finally have a Ladybug Quilt-Along Post for you on the ladies! Some of you have heard from me, but some of you still haven’t — I am working on that!

The first one is in my favourite colours, but I like the last one best ….. the design doesn’t look like any other design out there has just been made up in a different colour or size.

While it is very difficult to pick a favorite since they are all beautiful, I like the lat one, Spring Song, best. I love the fabrics and the quilting on it is amazing!! Congrats on getting all those done! Good luck with round 2!
That’s an amazing amount of work there!
Dear Curious Mind:
My favorite is “Spring Clusters Banner” until I saw baby circus quilt. Then I saw “Dancing Daffodils” and my heart was dancing joyfully. But then you sneaked in “Duckie Crossing” with the lavender in it and that was it. Following that was “Autumn Panel” and I thought I could make that a special project too! And along comes “Tea with me” and “Reach for the Stars Growth Chart” and “Spring Song” and now I’m all flustered– oh dear, I love ‘em all!
Now I’ve got the curious mind: what’s in Marathon 2?
Hi, Wendy!
I like best “Spring Clusters” will get a copy of the mag but I also like your “Spring Song” because your quilting is amazing!
Hi Wendy, it’s very hard to pick just one. They are all beautiful! If I had to choose just one, it would have to be Spring Song. The quilting is exceptional! Honourable mention would be Tea with me, it’s so sweet.
Baby circus! ^-^
it’s so cute!
Whew, that list makes me tired! All of your work is beautiful, Wendy, but my very most favorite of this bunch is Spring Song.
Spring cluster Banner is my favorite, but they are all wonderful!
I think I’ll have to decide (although it’s hard) on Spring Song!
Honestly Wendy – I dont know how you keep up – its amazing. ALL the quilts are beauriful and as always your quilting is exceptional. I just wish I lived closer and could come amd view these wonderful quilts in real time. I hope you do get SOME sleep. Baby must also be exceptional!
I’m just so amazed and very proud of you! Wow! I do admire your determination! And bravo! I know you’re going to make it!
as usual, i just cannot pick one!! the first one is a new favorite and the last one is one you posted about before and love it–your quilting as always is just phenomenol! i think i’m going to have to try at least one more of your quilt patterns
just showed the last one to hubby–he said i had to tell you how wonderful it is, both in design and quilting!!
I don’t know how you do it!!! But, you sure do make beautiful quilts and they should be shown as much as possible. Now, if you could only send some of that energy here to me , that would be awesome!!!!! lol
Spring song…love the bird and leaves!
Well Done.
My, my, you really HAVE been busy! Congratulations on them all. Autumn Panel and Spring Clusters are my favorites!
Spring Song – without a doubt!
Good grief, Wendy — you must be exhausted!! They’re all gorgeous so picking a favourite is VERY tough! If I absolutely had to choose I think it would be a tie between Tea with Me and Reach for the Stars.
I can’t believe you made all those in four weeks. I want to know how many elves live in your studio. *G* I love them all dearly but Spring Song has to be my favorite!
WOW you have been a very busy quilter!
My favorite – favorites – are Spring Cluster and Spring Song. hahah i guess I’m in the spring spirit already.
Wendy your quilting is beautiful.
I am especially fond of #8.
I just read your blog entry and I am so tired, I am going back to bed!
Spring Song is my favorite.
All I can say is WOW! That’s a lot of lovely work done.
I like the Dancing Daffodils, the Autumn Panel (a special project? Will that be in a magazine?) and Spring Song is just too beautiful. I also liked the embellishments on the Baby Circus quilt — it’s not one that I’d make but I love how the ideas could be applied to other projects.
It is always fun to see what you are previewing!
Spring Song is my favorite, but they are all wonderful quilts!!!
Bravo!!!
First of all, it’s REALLY hard to choose (you know I love all your stuff o:) ). But if I’m pressed, I’d have to pick two – Spring Clusters and Spring Song (my favorite season is Fall, really! LOL). I really like the tea cups too (oh never mind, I guess I just can’t pick!).
I can’t wait to see photos of the entire quilts!
All of them are fabulous, but Spring Cluster is my favorite. You are so good!!!
Not fair, asking us to pick our favorite. It’s like “saying “which flower in my garden do you like best? Well I love the roses, but again I love the peonies, well yes but Ialso love the poppies…then again…”.
Too hard to choose, but if you twist my arn I’d say Dancing Daffodils , But then again I love Spring Song as well. and..
Can’t choose.
