Here are snapshots of a free-lance project I completed for Quilting Treasures over the weekend:
“Ringling Animals” is a baby/circus fabric collection made by Quilting Treasures coming to a quilt shop near you! I fell in love with the fabrics when I was sent paper copy of the fabrics, and fell even more in love when the actual fabrics arrived! So, keep your eyes peeled for these adorable fabrics!
The mini pom-pom trim added to the gypsy-ish look.
Some fun star buttons made the stars on the fabric shine!
Do you see the similarity between the pieced border of the quilt and a page out of “Take me to the zoo” (currently Miss Baby’s favorite)? Yes, you guessed right. The main color scheme of the quilt was inspired by the flags on that page. See? Good things do come out of reading the same book five times a day…
