I thought these turned out looking pretty good…
… if I may say so myself!
It’s been another busy day for me. I had more designing work to do these past couple of days. So not much to show on fabrics. But I am moving right along with Americana Florals — should have some quilting pictures for you soon!
In case you are wondering, these fabrics are from Benartex’s Americana collection. Take a look at the fabrics in the red colorway – they are to die for!

Looks beautiful. I can just imagine how lovely the quilting will look
Very pretty!
Those are looking good! And very Americana-ish!
I have seen this type of floral applique done many times. I love the design but never have cared for the green and red it is usually done in. I don’t know why, but I am not a fan of green and red quilts. So I’m glad to see it done differently. This is going to another beautiful quilt!
That turned out lovely Wendy!!
you are right Wendy, it is spectacular.
When you first showed these fabrics, I umm….well let’s just say they weren’t my favorite color scheme. However, I may have to take that judgment back. You’ve managed to find a design that really displays the fabrics to their best advantage. The applique design is gorgeous and the fabrics now seem “classic”.
How beautiful – Wendy, you have such wonderful design sense! This is amazing.
You’re so good at making those
. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt.
PRETTY! Very “American” look..
I love this quilt. Your design is absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to see it quilted. Your quilting is always unbelievably beautiful!
Wendy, this is absolutely stunning!! looking forward to seeing this completely finished!!

I’ve seen this pattern a couple of times now. I actually did a block last week. My colors are red, green, pink, yellow. While I like mine, yours is quite lovely. I plan to sew mine as a sampler quilt.
Those are very pretty! I can’t wait to see how you quilt this one!
OH, my those blocks are simply fabulous. They look so good done in those fabrics.
