Hi there, my bloggy friends. I hope you have a lovely start to your day.
I am back to my Christmas in Ohio quilt. From these:
To these:
These stars were really fun and quick to make. One more day, I will be ready to quilt this puppy for feature in Fons & Porter‘s Easy Quilts. Stay tuned for details. Before you leave, see if you could spot the “star within star” from the way the layout of the blocks works out…
Have a splendid rest of the day! I will check in with you again tomorrow.

Very cool. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt
.
I just love the fabric with the sleigh. This will be one cute quilt.
Great quilt, love anything with stars. Now how did you get this post to show up ahead of the 5/21 post??
Fantastic – I love that Currier and Ives look!
Thumbs up!
This is absolutely gorgeous! Love the star within a star.
It really looks like a classic Christmas scene!!
I love it when I am proven wrong! ;~P
I didn’t think I would like a quilt with these fabrics ~ They seemed kinda boring, but you have made them look fabulous! I really like it alot! And like Chris said ~ a very Currier and Ives look! And the star within a star is a fun touch! I think I will be totally in love with it when it is quilted!
Blessings!
That is so beautiful – I love quilts like this, you look at it one way and see one thing, then suddenly your focus shifts and you see it totally different! Wonderful quilt Wendy!
Wendy, what a beautiful combination of fabrics! I love the green winter toile fabric you have used. The sleigh ride fabric is fabulous.
Looking lovely Wendy – Look forward to seeing more of this one
Yes, I see the star in a star. Sometimes I like to see more of the fabric in a block and you have done a nice job of doing that with the tree fabric. Congratulations on getting a quilt published in Fons and Porter. How wonderful!
Your quilt is looking great!
Seeing these fabrics is seriously tempting – I think I’m falling in love with them…swoon. I do see the Star in a Star! Lovely quilt!
These stars are cute with gorgeous fabric to go with. Can’t imagine to think Christmas as yet, but it will come too soon.
Hugs
