FREE! My original bird feather quilting motif used in “Sentimentally Yours” Quilt (featured in the November 2009 issue) is available as a free download on “The Quilter”‘s website. I don’t know how long it will be available on the website – so download yours today:

Though most of my feather quilting motifs are designed for free-motion quilting, I have also designed them with needlework in mind. They can be used as stand alone pattern for an embroidered block. Please send me pictures if you are using it as an embroidered block! Click on the image below to access the downloadable link:

Hi Wendy – AM I too late to get one of these…your quilting is amazing…DO let me know if you put out a book – I would love to be able to know more… and be able to quilt well by machine..I am still practising, and reading heaps.

I just found you through Ivory Spring and am enjoying going through the archive. I would like the pattern for the Bird Feather quilting in Sentimentally Yours. Thank you.

Your quilting is amazing–I machine quilt, too, but not as well as you–yet! I am glad to see that you use a Bernina, too–I have an Activa 140 that has served me quite well.

Wendy thank you so much for the feather design with the bird. I love it. I”m just getting started with free motion quilting , I usually hand quilt but am getting too many tops completed and they are not getting quilted. I just love feathers . Thank you for all the information . I know it will be a great help to me. I am feeling like a sponge right now trying to absorb as much as I can. your web site is wonderful.
