I was invited to appear in “Quilter’s World” February 2010 issue in a romantic garden tea party setting. So, I have been debating and mulling over what to wear. I decided to put on these yellow floral shoes:

Well, to keep that garden AND romantic theme, I had to look high and low for a most appropriate outfit! I finally settled on a blush pink floral frock:

I just couldn’t go to a garden tea party without a hat — what would my English hostess think? I found a matching blush pink hat with a yellow ribbon to go with my frock:

Now, I am ready to head out the door. I am checking to see if I forget something — oh, I did — my gloves and a heart shaped trivet to bring as a hostess gift:

One more thing to complete my outfit – a pair of pearl earrings! Now, off to the party I go… Wait, one more check in front of the mirror… do I look okay?

p.s. This Sunbonnet Sue is a 24″ block. It was very fun to make. Fabrics are from RJR’s Sommerset Cottage.
