*GASP* – my post title rhymes!!!
This week’s blogathon on Gracious Hospitality is on the topic of favorite tea. I had shared in an earlier post that I don’t drink as much tea as I do coffee, but boy, do I love the trappings of tea-taking!

My favorite tea actually changes from time to time, but the Earl Grey and English Breakfast blends would never go wrong for me! But I think my ALL-TIME favorite would have to be this special blend of green tea from Taiwan. A dear friend had given me the tea as a gift from her recent trip to Taiwan. It is not overwhelmingly strong – just soothing, and…. and…. it tastes just right for me! I have shown the tea poured out in Oriental-styled cups with the matching teapot, given by the same sweet friend. I actually have a tea set that matches the packaging of my favorite tea, imagine that! ![]()

Just to show you how darlingly cute and small the Oriental teapot is, I have used the regular Spode Blue Italian 6-cup teapot as a comparison!

Hi! I love your oriental tea pot! So unique! I love the blue and white one too! Can’t wait to see the finished project of your quilt with the velvet piece! I LOVE the colors of all the fabrics you’ve shown to coordinate with it! It’s going to be a beauty!
Have a good night! Hugs, Rhonda
What a darling Oriental tea pot and tea cups (are they called tea bowls?) and they certainly do match the packaging perfectly!
Oh I’m so glad you joined in. What a very cute little tea pot. I have to say though that the Spode Bue Italian takes my breath away!
That’s a really interesting and unique choice. Your little Oriental tea set is soooo pretty – the Spode is pretty beautiful too! Thanks for your great post…Kathy
I love that! Beautiful!
Your little Asian tea set is darling! And I love how your tea tin matches it! And how fortunate you are to have a Spode teapot as well — I’m still (and always) in love with blue and white china!
Thanks for sharing!

How neat! Thanks for sharing the picture with the tea set! It’s always interesting to learn about tea from other areas of the world!
Hello. Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. I think your quilting is great. I, too, love whole cloth quilts. They really are special, aren’t they?
love your teapots!
